Description
The York S1-6255371 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) regulates the flow of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator to match changing cooling requirements. Operating with a 97 PSIG setting, it responds to temperature and pressure conditions at the vaporizer outlet, adjusting air conditioner feed to maintain proper superheat during the freezing cycle featuring 3/8″ x 5/8″ ODF connections. The valve is mounted between the liquid line and evaporator coil in air conditioning and refrigeration HVAC systems controlled cooling fluid metering promotes efficient heat absorption, stable evaporative operation and consistent temperature control throughout the equipment.
