Description
The Carrier 5386 Steam Dispersion Tube & Screws distribute steam into the air stream through openings along the dispersion tube. Steam entering the tube travels through its distribution passages and exits at multiple points to introduce moisture across the moving air stream. The tube is secured within the steam distribution section using the supplied screws and connects with humidifier piping and related mounting structures. Its installation places the tube across the airflow path where steam can disperse through the conditioned air in HVAC systems. The assembly supports even vapor introduction, secure mounting, and consistent moisture distribution during humidification cycles.
