The Trane VAL21110 Chatleff Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant metering component that controls refrigerant flow with 6-ton capacity R454B compatibility, and 81 PSIG outlet pressure rating. The component responds to temperature and pressure conditions by adjusting refrigerant supply into the evaporator coil for proper cooling regulation. This valve works with HVAC systems such as air conditioning and heat pump units to assist with refrigerant control and heat transfer management located in the refrigerant circuit.
