Description
The Sporlan Controls 169279 4-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant metering component to regulate the refrigerant into the evaporator coil in HVAC systems. It has 1/2 inch x 7/8 inch ODF connections and uses R404A. It is used in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment where controlled refrigerant distribution is required for stable cooling operation. It responds to evaporator temperature and pressure conditions to maintain proper superheat during system performance.
