The Siemens Building Technology 241-00230 3-Way Valve Assembly controls the mixing or diverting of hot and chilled water through hydronic heating and cooling coils. Installed directly into hydronic piping conduits in HVAC systems via 1/2-inch NPT threaded connections, the 120V motorized actuator drives the internal valve stem within a brass body. Operating at a 1.0 Cv flow coefficient, the valve routes fluid through secondary bypass lines or directly through coil circuits based on line-voltage control signals. Regulating fluid redirection controls coil heat transfer rates, maintains stable space temperatures, and supports balanced hydronic flow distribution across continuous operating cycles.
