Description
The DiversiTech WS-1C Wet Switch Connected Flood Detector is a moisture sensing safety control that monitors condensate areas for unwanted water accumulation. Its sensing contacts respond when rising water reaches the detection point in HVAC systems, changing the power state and sending a signal through the connected circuit. The control can interrupt selected cooling operations when a condensate overflow condition occurs. Electrical terminals provide connection points for the monitored circuit, while the sensing section is positioned near where overflow could develop. Air-conditioning applications use this control around drain pans and condensate lines to detect water buildup before it reaches surrounding sections.
